First project I present here: BOREALIS CITY

Borealis City is a project developed by Franklin Thomas. For over 30 years, he's trying to make his ideas into reality without having been successful in approaching the government with his project of building a 100% sustainable city in Peace Valley, Alberta.

The city is projected to be built with 0 pollution technology, powered with solar energy and admitting no diesel car. For transportation, a network of rails would run through the city. At the center of Borealis, like a heart, the University of the North will be created where the continual will be engineering environment technologies in all fields of industries.

In other words, Borealis is intended to fund itself for a great part, maybe by creating a kind of trust. The first objective is to be able to start for real with the acquisition of a land located in the Borealis forest of Canada.

A model for humanity, this city will be open to people of everywhere like a perpetual World fair where the museum will exhibit the future of life itself. People will come to learn new technologies, think about society, creating goods with our hands. This project is apolitical and welcome all cultures with communications as a major core.

A community of 5000 people will be developed with the building of Borealis. We have to start with a few homes, exchange of information and a lot of work to be done!
