Ferry Rides from SecondLife mainland to BetterWorldIsland arrive at end of the Pier. Teleport kiosk in SecondLife orientation park to the ferry launch.
Upon arrival, first stop is Pick-a-Charity at entrance of Pier10. List similar to Goodsearch (http://goodsearch.com/) and/or randomspin slotmachine-like mechanism.

'Funds Raised So Far' viewable on Gateway. Somehow updated constantly/realtime.
Amusement Park Rides:
- Big Pink Ferris Wheel- based on Wheel of Life/Worlds Fair/WonderWheel. Donation of Linden to ride. other carnival rides possible (rollercoaster, carousel, etc). Generation of income for repeatable experience not just goods.
- Holy Moment 'ride': 2 people at a time lifted to sky level seating with scripting. Experience HolyMoment Script. At end, info screen explains that the holy moment is accessible at all times and they are offered the script as a gift before descending.
- WonderLander: Less a 'ride' than a style of navigation. Random-Adventure teleports throw you into various interactive 'Elsewheres' (Other 10% Realms/Islands). Wonderlanders are volunteers who choose character roles in order to help/guide visitors through choose-your-adventure-like 'stories'.
Fundraisers Mall
- loosely based on Ashes and Snow exhibit (http://iml.jou.ufl.edu/newszine/Archive/031605/entertainment/4.html) design. Project awareness, video kiosks, donation boxes, teleports and links to other 10% Islands/Projects. (Connecting Islands)
- Items for sale. Many different fundraiser virtual items, including T-shirts and cause bracelets. Rentable shops are all at least 10% to charity.
Mandala Palace
- Ideally it is scripted to flicker at intervals...to reveal the underlying kalachakra design. Combination of the everyday experience with the spiritual journey. Glimpses. Superimposed cafe/marketplace/arcade.
BetterWorldIsland itself remains/focuses on being a very important retreat, meeting and collaboration space for omidyar members and betterworldbuilders. Experiences, Global Village, Presentations, Lectures and Guest Speakers. Place of Support and Gathering, Nourishment.
