Crafters all over the world have been interested in creating something beautiful out of found objects, cast off goods...sometimes for the novelty, other times out of pure necessity and often times for varying degrees of both. Beautiful beads for jewelry and more can be made out of ordinary magazine papers you have lying around. We're always surprised by the variations of color and shape and love to brainstorm the possibilities. Join us to learn more about how paper beads are changing lives in developing countries and try your hand at making some paper beads of your own!
what you'll need:
- magazine or junk catalog papers
- ruler
- scissors or X-acto knife
- craft sticks or small straws
- varnish or clear nail polish
